Adelante Presents a Luncheon for Latina Entrepreneurs

The Adelante Movement will present the "Latino Entrepreneurs Succeeding Online" panel during the Latinas Brunch at the annual National Council of La Raza conference on July 20, it was announced on Tuesday.
Nely Galán, Adelante's founder, will bring out Internet stars Kathy Cano-Murillo (aka the Crafty Chica), Giahda Aguirre de Carcel (Kickstarter) and Rudy Mancuso (Vine), who use social media to build their brands and create successful online businesses.
The brunch will be headlined by Sheryl Sandberg, COO of Facebook, and Maria Elena Durazo, executive secretary-treasurer of L.A. County Federation of Labor, AFL-CIO.
After the brunch, about 1,000 Latinas will converge for an Adelante workshop, "Latina Entrepreneurship in the Digital Age," presented by Coca-Cola.
Top Latina tech executives attending the event include Eliana Murillo (Google/YouTube), Adrianna Samaniego (Google), Nuria Santamaría (Twitter), Francesca "Cesi" de Quesada Covey (Facebook) and Myrna Soto (Comcast).
They will lead sessions on maximizing the use of technology to make money online, with tips on building a website and using social media to promote a business or personal brand.
The NCLR Latinas Brunch takes place July 20 at 11 a.m. at the Los Angeles Convention Center. For more information click here.
